Who I am

This website belongs to Diane Jennings, a solution focused hypnotherapist and psychotherapist in Aughton, Lancashire. I am the data controller for the details you share through it, and I am registered with the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO), registration number ZA328896.

What this website collects

Only what you choose to send me through the contact form: your name, email address, phone number if you give it, and your message. I use these to reply to you and, if you would like, to arrange a discovery call or a session.

Please don't include health details in the form. We can talk about those on the phone or in person.

The website does not store your message. It is sent straight to my email inbox. To do that, it uses an email delivery service, Resend, which keeps a copy of sent emails in its logs for a limited time.

If you message me on WhatsApp instead, WhatsApp's own privacy policy applies to that conversation.

Cookies and tracking

This website does not use cookies, analytics or any tracking, and it does not show adverts. There is no cookie banner because there is nothing to agree to.

Like any website, the server that hosts it keeps a short-lived technical log, including the internet address your request came from, to keep the site running safely.

Who else is involved

• Auxtechna Ltd builds and runs this website for me.
• Railway hosts the website.
• Resend delivers the contact form to my email inbox.

Some of these services are based in, or use servers in, the United States. They only handle your details to provide their service to me.

Why I can use your details

I use your details to answer your enquiry and, if you ask, to arrange sessions. The law allows this because it is a step you have asked me to take before we agree to work together, and because it is in both our interests that I can reply to you.

How long I keep them

I keep enquiry emails only as long as I need them to reply and arrange things with you. If you become a client, I will tell you at your first session how I keep your records.

Children

If you are under 18, please ask a parent or carer to get in touch with me for you.

Your rights

You can ask to see the details I hold about you, ask me to correct or delete them, or object to how I use them. Email me at info@dianejennings.life.

If you are unhappy with how I have handled your details, you can complain to the ICO at ico.org.uk, though I would appreciate the chance to put things right first.
